Cinnamon + Reishi Calming Nighttime Drink

This is a wonderful nighttime beverage especially if you’re having trouble sleeping with the recent time change. Cinnamon is warming, sweet, and pairs well with relaxing and calming reishi mushroom powder for a soothing nighttime drink. My daughter requests a warm mug of this soothing milk whenever she needs help unwinding from a busy day.

Recipe:

12 oz plant milk of choice
1 cinnamon stick
1 teaspoon reishi mushroom powder
1 pinch of cinnamon powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Raw honey to taste

Directions:

1. Place milk, cinnamon stick, reishi mushroom powder, and vanilla in a small saucepan. Heat until milk starts to foam, stirring to mix in reishi powder.

2. Pour into a mug, and add honey to taste. Sprinkle cinnamon powder on top before serving.
